What a Phototory report is, what it is not, and what to check before relying on it.
What this is not
Phototory produces an itemized inventory from photographs. It is not a valuation, appraisal, cost segregation study, insurance determination, or tax advice, and it is not a substitute for a qualified professional. Estimated values are generalized figures for items of the type and quality identified — they do not reflect the condition, age, provenance, or market value of any specific item, and no physical inspection is performed. Verify every line before relying on it.
Where this is binding
This page states plainly what the Terms of Service already require. The Terms are the agreement; where the two could ever be read differently, the Terms govern.
Section 2 sets out what Phototory is and is not. Section 3 covers estimated values. Section 4 covers the separation of personal property from building components, and which report carries it. Sections 16 and 17 carry the disclaimer of warranties and the limitation of liability.
